Then must need to be pronounced as "n".
Even in "con permiso" it should be pronounced with n, only that sometimes people pronounce it as m because it is faster and easier to pronounce.

Does the n before the b need to be pronounced like m, as it must be in the expressions "con permiso" and "don Pedro"? Mil gracias!
