Hello!

"Creo que están aquí" is correct. You use the indicative with creer que and pensar que. However, you would use the subjunctive with no creer que and no pensar que.

¡Hola! ¿Es mas correcto dicir

"Creo que están aquí."
o
"Creo que estén aquí."?

When I want to say "I think they´re here." (in other words, "I think the people that we´re talking about are present right now.")

My understanding of the grammer tells me that I should use the subjunctive "estén" but it just doesn't sound right for some reason (well, not that I´d really know what sounds right anyway!)

¿Qué se paracen?
