A continuación te presento las traducciones posibles

Jugué tenis durante cinco años. (I played tennis for five years)
Llevo cinco años jugando tenis. o He estado jugando tenis por 5 años. (I have been playing tennis for five years)
Gané una competencia hace cinco años. (I won a competition five years ago)
Juego tenis desde los cinco años. (I have played tennis since I was five years old).

I struggle with time phrases, because they don't directly translate into English sometimes, and I'm not sure whether translators online are telling me the right thing. Can someone help translate these examples?

I played tennis for 5 years (at some point in my life)

I have been playing tennis for 5 years (the last 5 years)

I won a competition 5 years ago (5 years ago, not for 5 years)

I have played tennis since i was 5 years old
