O se habría terminado hace mucho (la amistad entre ellos).
To be over - Acabarse.

Hello, can somebody help me with the next phrase, please?

"And I really love and care about you. Or it would have been over long ago."

I understand the first sentence but not the second one.

"Y realmente te amo y me importas. O fue hace mucho tiempo" ??
