Hi! I just finished taking a teacher certification test so that I may teach Spanish, and I didn’t know the answers to some questions about film and telenovelas. The first one basically asked, “What is the main difference between film in Spain and in the United States?” The second question was “What is the primary difference between Latin American telenovelas and American soap operas?” Does anyone here know the answers to these questions? Thanks so much, Kathy
¡Hola!

The telenovelas usually last about 120 or so episodes then they are over, with a definite finale and conclusion. American soap operas go on forever until they are cancelled.

Saludos
